Project Car is a 24/7 community-driven automotive maker-space for project vehicles. Membership is how people get access to the shop, bays, tools, and community.
What membership is for
Membership is aimed at people doing real mechanical and fabrication work on custom and project cars — not casual tire storage. If you need space to tear down and rebuild, tools beyond a home garage, and a practical environment to plan and finish a build, this model is for you.
It is also for builders who want more than an empty bay: shared shop capability, people who understand project cars, and support when a job needs a second opinion or a clearer plan.

How it works
At a high level, interested builders join as members, get bay and shop access under shared safety and house rules, and use the space for active project work. Bay allocation, onboarding, and day-to-day rules will be defined properly before a full open program — we are not inventing fine print on this page.
If you are interested now, the most useful step is to reach out. Early interest helps us size demand, prioritize equipment, and shape membership so it stays fair and workable when doors open.
Bay schedule & fair access
Access is meant to stay fair as the shop fills up. The direction is a simple weekly bay schedule: each bay shows who is booked and when, so members can plan wrench time without guessing whether a hoist is free. Blocks can reflect shared sessions or dedicated windows depending on how a project is running.
Over time, that schedule pairs with a lightweight token-style allowance so heavy users do not quietly crowd out everyone else — think clear claims on bay time, not a maze of rules. Exact token counts and reset rules are not locked yet; the mockup below is a temporary placeholder of the kind of board we intend to run.
Current status
Both the physical shop and the membership program are in early build. What you read here is the intended model and public direction — not a claim that memberships are fully open or that every feature is already live.
We will update this page as access, bays, and policies become concrete.
